Performance

Sodium Metasilicate Anhydrous has bulk density 1.00-1.35 g/mL, melting point 1089C, and molecular weight 122.06. It is non-toxic, odorless, and readily soluble in water but insoluble in alcohol and acid. Its aqueous solution is alkaline with excellent pH buffering capacity.

It exhibits excellent cleaning performance with outstanding detergency, emulsifying, dispersing, wetting, and penetrating properties, making it an effective STPP replacement in industrial cleaning formulations.
