Formulation Guide: Concentrated Dishwashing Liquid & Industrial Heavy Oil Cleaner with Anhydrous Sodium Metasilicate

It provides two complete working formulations for concentrated dishwashing liquid and industrial heavy oil cleaner, using Anhydrous Sodium Metasilicate as the alkaline builder. Formulation 3: Concentrated Dishwashing Liquid Formulation

Manufacturing Procedure
Step 1
Heat deionized water to approximately 40℃. Add AES-70% and mix until completely dissolved.
Step 2
Add Sodium Cocoyl Methyl Taurate and Cocamide DEA. Mix until the surfactant system becomes uniform.
Step 3
Slowly add Anhydrous Sodium Metasilicate Powder Grade I. Maintain continuous agitation until fully dissolved.
Step 4
Add sodium chloride and EDTA-2Na. Mix evenly.
Step 5
Adjust pH using citric acid solution. Target pH: 7.5-8.5.
Step 6
Cool below 35℃. Add Polyquaternium-7, sodium benzoate, fragrance, colorant. Mix thoroughly. Filter and fill.

Application Notes
In dishwashing formulations, Anhydrous Sodium Metasilicate is normally used at a lower dosage compared with laundry powders.
Recommended dosage: 2-5%

Manufacturing Procedure
Step 1
Heat water to approximately 50℃. Slowly add sodium hydroxide solution. Mix thoroughly.
Step 2
Add Anhydrous Sodium Metasilicate Powder Grade II under strong agitation. Mix approximately 20 minutes until completely dissolved.
Step 3
Add Triethanolamine, nonionic surfactant, AEO-9, isopropanol. Mix until uniform.
Step 4
Add acrylic copolymer dispersant, EDTA-2Na, BTA. Continue mixing.
Step 5
Cool below 40℃. Add defoamer, preservative. Filter and package.

Application Notes
Industrial cleaners usually require a stronger alkaline system.
