How This Grade Is Produced and Checked

The granule is the screened fraction of the same pentahydrate crystallised at our plant from in-house sodium silicate at a fixed SiO₂/Na₂O molar ratio of 1.0. After drying below the dehydration point, the crystals are screened to the granular cut; the fines go to the powder grade rather than being blended back in, which is what keeps the granule low in dust.

In addition to the pentahydrate release checks (Na₂O content, crystal water, whiteness, dissolution behaviour, insoluble matter), each granule batch is checked for particle-size distribution and bulk density, because those two decide how the product flows through automatic dosing equipment. Every batch ships with its own Certificate of Analysis; TDS and SDS are available for the grade.
